Shane Curren '21 Recruiting Profile

    As an athletic kid growing up in a small town, I was raised with strong morals and have learned to persevere. I have been involved in sports since the age of three. However, it wasn’t until I was 12 years old when I was able to get involved in football because the nearest football program was over 60 miles away. Being on a team that far from home was when I first learned the value of teamwork, commitment, and sacrifice. 

   Playing two sports, plus weight lifting throughout both middle and high school, I have learned time management as well as a strong work-ethic and leadership skills. My academic goals for high school are to continue taking advanced classes and graduate in the top of my class. I would be honored to attend a scholastically competitive college with an exceptional sports program. I believe I would be an asset to your sports program because I am teachable and determined to always be better.
