Hello, Im Logan Smith. I am a 6’4” 320 pound offensive lineman from Tehachapi, California. I am the son of a stay at home Mom and a Father who is an officer with the California Highway Patrol. I have an older brother that attends Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
In the community I have volunteered with a local Christian outreach and assist elderly neighbors with various tasks and chores as needed.
I am also committed to my education and with my parents support have continued to be enrolled in the appropriate classes that will allow me to play football at the next level after I graduate high school.
Outside of school I am currently employed as a “wrangler” at a community equestrian center and in the summer I am a Lifeguard at a community pool. Last year I was promoted to Head Lifeguard, the youngest Head Lifeguard they have ever had. I m a Red Cross certified Lifeguard and certified Swim Instructor
Growing up in a small town, I began to play football at the age of eight years old. I have played each season since and for several years I was a starting lineman on both sides of the ball. As a youth football player I was on the county All Star team.
Currently I train with American Speed and Strength twice a week in Bakersfield California. This training improves my footwork, agility, and quickness. I also weight train with Tyler Shryock. Shryock is a personal trainer and a former player with the Chicago Whitesox.
Academically my favorite subject to study is history. Currently I am unsure of what my Major in college will be, but my focus is narrowing in which path I will be taking after high school.
As a football player and member of my community I have always worked hard to be a leader on and off the field. Im committed to doing the right thing regardless if someone is looking or not. As I work toward my goal of playing football at the next level, please consider me as a player on your roster. I will not disappoint you.
