Hayz Camarena '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hayz Camarena, I am a duel sport athlete at Templeton High School in Templeton CA, class of 2027. I Currently play Linebacker and running back. My defensive coach has referred to me as “The Swiss Army Knife” because I am a utility tool that can dominate multiple positions on the field, defensively and offensively. I am competitive and passionate when it comes to my love for the game. I am an athlete first and foremost. When I go on that field I give every position, every play, every move all that I have, because that is my job. I owe it to my team, myself and my school to be the best that I can be. I am not afraid to work hard for the things i want. I always push myself to strive for growth on and off the field every day. 

I could say the thing i love most about football is the contact or the adrenaline, for obvious reasons. But, it’s more! The camaraderie, brotherhood and the strategy in anticipating your opponent’s. That’s what fuels my passion for the game. I would love nothing more than to become a collegiate level student athlete while studying business. I will continue pushing myself as hard as I can so that I can continue to pursue that dream.
