I love football. I love football because it has taught me a lot. It has taught me how to adapt and overcome things that come my way. The sport has taught me to be a leader. Being a leader means trying to always do what is right. Knowing someone is always watching my actions and words. Football has taught me to keep my composure. Even if I throw an interception, get sacked, win or lose. It has taught me to focus. Always focusing on the task at hand. Learning from the past and how to use it for the future. But most of all football has taught me respect. Always respecting everyone, no matter the situation.
Applying these qualities both on and off the field, not only makes me a better player, but a better person. They make me a better son and brother. It makes me a better friend, and makes me a better student.
I have learned to play other sports to keep me in shape and use things I learn from different sports to help me in football. I am a very coach-able athlete. I have also learned that grades are very important. So I use what I learn on the field with my studies. If I do not get a good grade, I make sure I study harder. I strive to have a 3.0 GPA or higher. But as always family comes first to me. I love to hang out with my family every chance that i can.
All in all , I strive to be the best that I can be both on and off the field. I would love to play for your team.
