I am a 17 year old football player. I have played football since I was 6 years old, I really love the sport. For a while I just wanted to play football year to year until this past season. My D-Line coach really opened up to me and made me realize who I am and what I can do. He opened my eyes to the fact that there are obstacles in life but they really cant stop you, you have to overcome and persevere. I want to continue playing football as long as I can and go to the college level and make something more of myself as well as continuing my education. I feel like I would be a good candidate for your team because I am hard working and I appreciate the time that coaches take to work and make me better, I dont feel like anything is owed to me and I believe that, that is a big part of being a team member and I believe knowing this helps me play better. I am different from other recruits in character because I am good in decision making and not letting my team/brothers fall down the wrong path. In athletics I continue to better myself each day as I go to the gym, I believe in sets not reps, I continue to press on until I can not do anymore. To be great you have to work great.
