Shane Brooks '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shane Brooks and I am a young senior at the age of barely 17 years old. In the last two years i have received 1st team All-Conference each year, led my team to back to back league titles, and two playoff births. These were the first playoffs that my school has been in since 1988. I also recieved the Offensive Player of the Year for 2009. I advanced from kindergarten to second grade due to my academic skills. I stand at a good 6'5" and 195 pounds. Throughout my high school career I have been a part of Student Senate, High School Leadership La Plata, Junior Masonics, National Society of High School Scholars, and The National Honor Society. I have no problem with balancing my schoolwork and my athletics. I have never recievedd below an A and i currently hold a 4.160 GPA. I always work hard to be the best i can be and i am extremely dedicated. My family does not have a college sports history and i would love to compete at the colligiate level. The desired major of mine right now is some sort of field in engineering.
