Personal Statement
I consider myself a team player. I am willing to work and play in any position that the team needs me. I am flexible and possess the ability to play all position on the offensive line and can play nose guard or defensive tackle. I am a leader both on and off the field and am very coachable. My preferred position is offensive guard or center. My educational aspirations involve a degree in psychology as I wish to be a counselor to families and children. As such, I am willing to consider any college where I can attain a degree in psychology and where the coaches will allow me play time on the field. Personally, I have been told that I am mature for my age. I was raised in a mainly single parent household as an only child and have been around adults most of my life. Additionally, I have been enrolled in Tae Kwon Do since I was seven years old and hold a second-degree black belt. My martial arts experience gives me an advantage with my physical flexibility and my footwork. It also allows me to have a solid base and stronger legs than other players my age. Finally, I also played basketball in middle school and as a freshman in high school. This has also allowed me to improve on my footwork. I feel I would be an asset to any team that is looking to fill one of the positions I can play and look forward to the opportunity to meet and discuss mutually beneficial relationships through NCSA.
