Personal Statement
I've always been dedicated in pushing myself to get good grades in the classroom. During my years in high school, I have worked hard on managing my time and the responsibilities it takes to be a student athlete. I have been able to maintain a 3.8/4.0 GPA, while playing two varsity sports (football and basketball). As I begin to pursue my subject interests in the classroom, I continue to both enjoy and excel in mathematics. I am interested in pursuing Accounting, Finance, or Actuarial Science in college.
The football field is the place I go to enjoy myself and play the game that I love. Over the course of my high school football career, I progressed not only as a player, but as a young man. With the help of my coaches and teammates, I strengthened my ability and knowledge as a wide receiver. I continue to strive at getting bigger, faster, and stronger on and off the field. I made relationships as well as memories that I am grateful for and will never forget. I learned the qualities of leadership, and drive myself to be the best leader I can be day in and day out. My love for the game only continues to grow stronger, and my dream would be to continue playing at the collegiate level. If I am blessed with the opportunity, I'd love to dedicate my time, ability, leadership, and passion for the game at a college football program that is the right fit for me.
