Osgood schlatters since age 13, still recovering, have recently discovered a foam rolling stretching program that takes 7 weeks; if I do that 3 or 4 times, I should be fully cured. (Right now it is march 17, 2021, I will start on march 20, 2021, and should be fully cured by Sep - Dec 2021, and consequently will improve my squat and vertical in the process.
19 years old, didn't play hs sports, only hs rec and travel soccer. Am currently training to get a lot better and play amatuer ball in summer/fall 2021 and improve from there.
Also, I'm a hair under 5'10 (5'9 3/4), but I don't like lying, so I rounded down to 5'9. I have had hyperthyroidism since just after my 19th birthday in June, and unfortunalty have lost around 15 - 18 lbs. I used to be around 164. Used to bench 135 for around 4 reps with bad form (atrocious I know), but I'll be at 185 for 3 with good form on bench, 245 x 3 on squat and 315 on deadlift by age 21 in 15 months. Ill also likely grow to a full 5'10 and be around 150 - 155 and pretty lean, and a better runner too. I have a chip on my shoulder because I missed out on playing high school and youth sports besides soccer because I wasn't physically or mentally mature enough, and didn't even realize I wanted to do it until it was too late. Now, I am training, will try to play amatuer ball, then either get recruited in CT and play college and get a BA, or just continue to play amatuer ball and work 40 hrs/wk from 6-2 pm and still have time to enjoy life. It will probably be the latter, although I am open and excited at the possibility of playing in college, especially after a few years of amatuer ball from around 2021 - 2026, and maybe go d1 in ct at the age of 25. That said, I would be happy to play and create some amatuer teams in CT, and grow the culture around here while also working a job I like, (even if it pays less, but with good consistent hours and comradery) in the morning, then practicing in the afternoons. My ideal job is either a general marina laborer at a boatyard here in Norwalk, or at a country or general convenience store ad a cashier/clerk. I like old fashioned culture. I am interested heavily in running, boxing, soccer, football, basketball and lacrosse. To a lesser extent, hockey, wrestling and baseball.
By then, in a little over 5 years, I will be around
5'10
161 lbs
3.9 % bf lean muscle
bench 245 x 3
squat 315 x 3
deadlift 475 x 3
run 15:30 5k
run 1:10: 55 half marathon
run 5.3 40 yard dash
jump 28" vertical
Thank you for reading, contact me. I'm a pretty outgoing guy.
