My freshman year, I ended up starting at RB after the 5th game of the season. I started the season as the 3rd team RB but was thrust into the starting role by the 5th game of the season due to injuries. I was surprised and didn't know what expect playing against 18 and 19 year olds but I knew that I wanted to do whatever I could for the team. I completed my freshman year as the starter and led the team in rushing yards. I started at RB again for my whole 10th grade year but this time I was better prepared because I worked on making myself a better athlete. I ran track, lifted weights, and became bigger/faster. We went to a spread offense and I contributed by running the ball, blocking, playing special teams, and doing whatever was asked of me by the coaches. This year, 2019, I started the season as a starter on offense and defense at LB. Unfortunately, I sprained my ankle in the 1st game on a playaction fake. I worked hard to get back to the field and ended up splitting carries in the backfield but continued to start on defense. I ended up 2nd Team All-Conference in 5 games at LB. I'm not sure which would be my best position on the college level but I would be willing to play any position. Maybe my senior year will help clear that up.
As a student-athlete, I prioritize great work ethic on-the-field and off-the-field. The work ethic that I have influences my teammates to strive to be better and go the extra-mile. I'm persistent in my approach to the game. I strive to make difficult challenges and goals... accomplishable. I 'm a team player and my value system as a player not only benefits me but the others around me. Ever since I started playing football, I have always been a team 1st player and have been willing to contribute in whatever way that I could. My collegiate aspiration are to improve my game, continuing being a team player, and to hopefully obtain an athletic or academic scholarship. I would be a good candidate for any team because I'm willing to what it it takes to succeed. I have improved a lot over the years and I'm still improving all the time. I have a track record of doing the right things on the field and off the field. Simply put, I'm a good football player that isn't selfish and is improving all the time. This separates me from other recruits.
