Personal Statement

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile and personal statement. My name is Grant Coppens and I am a 6'5/215 lb tight-end/outside linebacker for the Fort Myers High School Greenwave located in Fort Myers, FL.

 I am a Southwest FL native and have spent many years dedicated to improving and perfecting my athletic abilities. I started playing football at the Pop Warner level at the age of 8 and never looked back. I have strengthened my skills by attending 1 on 1/group speed and agility training, and 1 on 1/group position specific training. In addition, I have attended various football camps annually across the state of FL.

 I look forward to enhancing my athletic skills on the field at the collegiate level. I am a dedicated hard worker and put forth full effort into all tasks assigned to me. I strive for academic (4.0 GPA) and professional excellence on a daily basis.
