Jordyn Ward '21 Recruiting Profile

Since the age of 11, volleyball has been my greatest passion. For the past 6 years of my life, I have been playing competitive club volleyball. My first 2 seasons of volleyball I played Libero and DS, then when I turned 14 my coach moved me to a setter. Since then I have focused on all aspects of the sport but mainly setting. I love setting because it helps me be a leader to my team mates on the court. The last year I have been team captain and MVP for both my high school and club team. I aspire to always improve my skills while influencing those around me to improve theirs. Volleyball has helped me in many ways in life including my academics. Being in volleyball encourages me to maintain a higher GPA which I always exceed. I am looking for a school which will push me to become a better player, and student.
