James (MARSHALL) Combee '23 Recruiting Profile

I have loved football since my first practice in 6th grade.  I am passionate about the game, and plan to spend my life and career playing the game, and/or coaching the game, and/or broadcasting the game.  I am driven to succeed and have a work ethic and drive that motivates me to continually seek to improve my skills.  I put team success first.  I believe that everyone succeeds the most when the team wins and works well together.  I want to be coached and taught.  I don't know everything.  I want to get better, because I want to go further than college with my dreams.  I am dedicated to making the most of every opportunity, and am not only willing, but eager to work hard to accomplish my dreams.  For me, the hard work is the fun.  I am a serious student as well as a serious athlete.  I take care of my body, my mind, and my spirit.  My relationship with Christ is foremost for me, even above football, and I want to live a life of service to others as well as excelling in the gifts that God has given to me.  I am a great team encourager and motivator.  I lead more by example than words, but I am willing and able to speak effectively when needed.  I do my best to speak life to people and avoid complaining and negativity.  I will be fully committed to my coach, my teammates, and the success of my team, wherever I am blessed to play, and I will absolutely give my best effort every snap.
