Personal Statement

I am a senior and I have played football and baseball since I was 5 and 6 years old.  In 2011, as a freshman, I played Varsity football as a linebacker, fullback, and tailback with my brother Tyler, who is currently a starting linebacker at Mercer University (SoCon) (D-1) in Macon, GA .   I play varsity baseball as a catcher, third baseman, and Right Field. I  contributed to three consecutive State Baseball Championships for spring 2012,  2013, and 2014.   I was voted All State and best offensive player for baseball and earned second in state for the Wrestling team in a 220 lb. weight class. Football is my favorite sport and I would love to have the opportunity to play for a college team.  I started my sophomore year and contributed to the Tattnall Trojan Football State Championship in 2011.  In 2012 and 2013, I started every game, served as Captain, and played both Offense and Defense.  In 2012, I was voted all Region, received Honorable Mention for All State, and was voted Best Defensive Back.  In 2013, I had 171 tackles, and made All State, All Region, and the All Bibb County Team.  I received the Captain's award.  I am goal oriented, competitive, have good character, and a strong work ethic.  I have received two offers so far including Mercer and am being recruited by other D I and DII schools. I was selected as a potential " top right" player for the USA Football Team.  My GPA is 3.7 and I am a member of the National Beta Honors Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and have received several academic achievement awards.  I recently received the Wendy's Heisman Award , received the "Rib Rocker" award by Channel 13WMAZ Friday Night Football, voted a "Top 12 Treasure" in the Macon Telegraph, and was highlighted in the Grid Iron Game of the week.   I play with heart,110% effort, and I play to win. Please review my recent film and news articles recognizing me for some of my accomplishments and consider me for your college team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
