I am one of the only guys I know who looks forward to Spring Training and the beginning of summer practices. I enjoy the hard work of a tough practice and thrive on opportunities to improve myself as well as my teammates. I have been playing high school football at Crosspointe Christian Academy in Hollonville, Georgia for the last three years. Because I go to a small private school, I do not have access to the facilities/equipment that most student athletes have at larger schools. For this reason, I have learned to discipline myself and maintain an off season workout program at home.
Not only do I work hard on the field, I work equally as hard in the classroom. I am currently dual enrolled and taking classes at Gordon State College. I have maintained a high GPA (3.5) while actively participating in multiple extracurricular activities. These include Beta Club, Quiz Bowl, Drama, church youth group, as well playing on my high school's varsity baseball team.
I am looking forward to college, learning new things, and the opportunity to push myself in the classroom and on the field. I have wanted to play football at a collegiate level since I first stepped out onto the football field. Although my primary positions are listed as Running Back and Line Backer, I have played offensive line, defensive line, defensive end, special teams, and I have even taken a few snaps. I am very coachable and am willing to work hard at any position where I can best benefit the team.
