Davis Johnson '19 Recruiting Profile

Winning the State Championship as a sophomore for The Kings Academy has been the highlight of my high school career so far. It helped intensify my passion to win and showed me how hard work, and working as a team pays off in the end. However, my freshman and junior years have taught me the most because of the difficulties my team and I faced. Those two seasons not only have helped me grow as an individual and a football player, but also helped me focus more on becoming the best Defensive Tackle capable of playing at the college level. 

I've been blessed to play for a school that is always one of the top competitors for a ring, winning the State Championship in two of the last four years. Through this team I have learned the importance of dedication, leadership, sacrifice and teamwork through the years with and without winning a trophy. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I am also very confident that I not only have the talent to compete for your team, but also the dedication, work-ethic, leadership skills, and the character to make a very quick impact on your team. As a two-sport athlete and a two-time captain, I am confident that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
