Carl Reina '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football for the past 12 years in competitive Chicago leagues.  I am passionate about the game and am solid in several different positions.   As a senior, I am currently playing LS, LD, NG, and FB.  I am also well-versed at the OLB and ILB positions.  I strive to be the best I possibly can at these positions and am honored to be such an integral part of our team.  I believe in my team not matter what!  I have also participated in several other sports over the years and regard myself as an all-around athlete.   Having achieved all-conference awards in track (4x400 relay and JV wrestling), I feel confident in my ability to perform in a variety of sports.  I aspire to continue my football career at the collegiate level throughout my college experience.

I come from a long line of hard-working family members and this has inspired me to be the best person I possibly can be, both on and off the field.  My family believes that it is our responsibility to serve, protect and teach others in our community and I intend to follow this mantra.  I am a firm believer that it takes not only talent, but extreme hard work and determination to make academic, athletic and future dreams come true.  I am not afraid to work as hard as I possibly can to achieve these goals.  I hope to inspire not only my teammates and classmates through my example, but also future generations who have the desire and grit to go out and make their own dreams come true!
