2012 HighlightsI dream everyday about being a doctor. My competitive nature not only allows me to succeed in athletics but also in my education, and what greater a challenge to accomplish than becoming a doctor. I've always dreamed of being able to improve the life of others. Being a doctor would allow me to help anyone in such a significant way. When I think about my future and my career I become anxious and excited! I know that's what I want to do and when I want something I give it my all to get it. I have so many goals and high expectations for myself I'm not sure where to start. A couple of my biggest goals are to get a college scholarship. Getting that means I will actually be able to attend a 4-year university and that leads to my next biggest goals to be the first in my family to get a college degree. Playing football is so important to me. I feel it's what has made me into the young man I've grown to be. I consider myself to be a very vocal leader and I take much pride in that. I've received a couple of honors through sports. Most recently I received an East Suburban Catholic Conference All-Conference award. This means a lot to me because its such a difficult award to achieve since my schools conference is one of the toughest competition wise in Illinois. Another award I got was an award given by my school called the Hank Schuler Heart of the Shamrock Award which goes out to the student athlete that shows the most heart on and off the field in all that they do. These are two of my most proudest achievements. I'm excited to be a student-athlete at the highest level possible.
