My name is Cody Bryant and I am a running back at Lincoln-Way North High School in Frankfort, Illinois. I've dreamt of playing football in college ever since I was little. I work hard in the classroom and on the field because I know that both are mutually significant in me achieving my college goals. I am an only child, so the role model in my life has been my dad. He has taught me incredible lessons but the most cherished to me has to be that, "if you put in one hundred percent effort on everything you do, you will never be disappointed with the outcome". I wish to attend a college where my academic goals as well as my athletic goals can be achieved. I believe that education is just as valuable as athletic ability and wish to attend an institution that believes the same. Character is most important to me. My dad always told me growing up that "it's not what you do when people are watching, but what you do when no one is looking that makes you who you are" and I've stood by that my entire life. I want to pursue a medical degree because both my parents are in the medical field and I enjoy helping others. I've always tried to put others before me whenever possible, especially teammates.
