My goal as a student-athlete is to succeed in the classroom as well on the football field; I want to be able to successfully earn a bachelor's degree and grow as an athlete.
My love for the game began at the age of six when my parents signed me up for a flag football team. Over the course of the next eleven years, I have developed a great understanding of the game of football. This was achieved through conversing, watching, and training with my two older brothers (one played at the college level), my dad, and my coaches over the years. They all have taught me about the key things that make an athlete great. I am fortunate to have been able to play on teams where my teammates were not only talented but shared the same love for the game as me. In my sophomore season, I was able to share a role in taking our team to the regional semi-finals with a record of 11-1. In my past three seasons, my teammates have shown me how to be a dedicated leader on and off the field.
Academically, I strive to be the best student I can be. Whether that’s taking the time to come into school early to get a little more help or to discuss my grades with a teacher, I am always willing to make my academics a priority.
