Oliver Williams '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5 foot 9 athlete (RB/DB) from Leeds, England. I play for The Yorkshire Assassins U19 and Great Britain Lions Under 17 teams since I was 12 years old. I captained the GB Under 17s against Austria in November 2022 As an additional sport, I play rugby for my school Varsity team and for my local rugby club. In rugby I play winger. I have a 3.85GPA and 1140 SAT.

I want to play football at the highest level I can at a college with a good academic record. I would like to go to a college that offers majors in broadcast journalism with a sports focus. I would ideally want to be in a position where I can absorb as much coaching as possible. I pride myself on my ability to read the game and help my team to review their plays or mistakes. I have a really positive attitude to mistakes as I believe considered risk is the most effective way to learn.
