Personal Statement

Football has always played a large part of my life every since I was a kid.  Growing up, I aspired to be a great football player and have always wanted to play at the next level.  My older brother, now coach, has taught my the importance of hard work and dedicating myself to the program I am with.  I am a fast learner, and love every aspect of the game.  I am also an honor roll student and understand the importance of the first word in Student- Athlete.

Events

  • Camp/Event
  • Grandview Prospect Camp
  • The camp begun with testing, then we broke out into our individual groups. We did some footwork drills, and tackling drills with the tackle ring. The running backs came over and we worked on getting down hill and wrapping up. We finished the afternoon working on coverages and covering live receivers.
  • Camp/Event
  • Saturday Night Under the Lights
  • It was an all afternoon camp where we started out testing speed and explosiveness. After that, we went to the outdoor practice field and did position specific competition drills. Once that was completed, we worked with the position coaches, and we learned new drills and techniques on playing linebacker. To finish out the night, we went to the stadium and had one-on-one passing competitions with the offense. It was a great camp where I learned a lot and got some experience performing against division I athletes.
