Winning the Iowa Football State Championship as a sophomore will be one of the highlights of my high school career. I was fortunate enough to start on this championship team and I was able to begin to see the impact committed leaders have on a team. This experience helped me grow as an athlete and an individual. I was able to use these traits in both my track and swimming seasons. These experiences along with a successful junior football season has helped develop me into an athlete capable of playing at the college level.
I am fortunate to have played for a football program that has won a state championship and has placed third at state in the last two years. I am committed to do whatever amount of work it takes to improve, and I bring that ethic to the people around me. I am looking for a program that will have high expectations of me both athletically and academically. As a successful three-sport athlete, I know that I will do whatever it takes to be a dependable leader on your team.
