Personal Statement
Football has been my passion since I first began to play in the 2nd grade. For the past ten years it has been a non-stop training session to get better at the thing I love. I am not ready to be done after my senior year of high school. My teammates and I intend to do great things this season, and when a team does great things you are bound to get noticed. My goal is to attend a competitive Division 1 football program. I have a desire to live and compete in a competitive environment. My collegiate goal is not only to just be a part of the team, my goal is to play a major role in the success of that team. Average is not enough for me. I work my absolute hardest at every thing I do on and off the field. In the classroom I am an A student who studies hard and will never accept failure. I need a school that is going to really challenge me mentally and grow my knowledge.
I am a leader on my team. I am a dynamic, fast, and versatile who plays on both sides of the ball. On offense, I often play QB but am also equipped to play WR at a competitive level. On defense, I play defensive back which includes CB and Safety. As a very quick learner, I can bring a lot to a team! I also return kicks on kick return!
I am a very selfless player who will do whatever it takes to ensure the success of my team. I will never do anything to disrespect my team or give them a bad rap. The respect and the trust I get from my teammates to lead them is what gives me the confidence to perform to my best ability, for them. My schooling comes first before my athletics. I work as hard at my grades as I do football and that is A LOT. I currently am in contact with a few of the top schools in Iowa but lack the ¨promotion¨ tools to get my name out there to the bigger schools where I believe I can compete at.
