Joseph (Joey) Badger '13 Recruiting Profile

I'm Joey Badger and I am currently attending Nevada High School in Nevada, Iowa. I'm a multi-sport athlete, participating in football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. I'm very passionate when it comes to sports and would like to continue my athletic career past high school. But, as a student-athlete, I am also looking to furthur my education as well. I'm a very respectful individual and am very fun to work with. I'm coachable and will get the job done with no questions asked. I've been very successful in sports, playing varsity soccer and varsity basketball as a freshman. Our soccer team has appeared in the state tournament the last two years and last year we reached the championship game. I also have been a part of our local AAU basketball team since 5th grade, winning several tournaments up until sophomore year, when we discontinued participating in tournaments.

In football I am a kicker but due to last problems with concussions in the past, i was unable to take the field last fall. However, I will be returning to action this fall. Kicking seems to come naturally for me and I am looking to kick at the collegiate level. Not only will I bring a solid kicking game to the team but also a winning attitude and leadership. I have a very open mind in where I would like to attend college and I am basically looking for a school that I will excel at in kicking as well as academics. My desired major would be in athletic training. I have set many goals in athletics but my main goal is to perform at the highest level that I possibly can and be successful.
