Personal Statement

Dear Prospective Coach:

My name is Gage Sample. I am a 5'11" 180lb football Player. Currently during my High School athletic career, I was fortunate to start on both the offense as a running back and a option wide receiver and at strong safety for defense since the first game of my freshman year. I have been runner up and second runner up numerous times for tackles. I have vast knowledge in 8-man and 11-man football skills due to my schools lack in size. I've taken on the role to learn many other defensive and offensive roles as well. It is my desire to play OLB/MLB/FS in College. My main attributes are my work ethic, strength, and desire to win! I love to hit on the field and I also love the weight room! I am a person that is strong in my faith and I am of good moral character. I guarantee that I will make a good addition to the right school's football team and overall community. I also have competed in other sports such as basketball, baseball and track & field at a varsity level.

I have high motor skills and strive to be the best I can be. I'm a dedicated person to making my dreams come true and that is to play football at a collegiate level and help my school in other sports. I have learned various ways how to improve myself not only as a football player but a teammate on and off the field. I stay dedicated in my classes just as much as my sports. I'm ready and willing to keep working to advance myself to the next level of play after high school.
