I have been playing football since I was 11/12 years old (6th grade). The first time I stepped on the field with pads on I knew that football was what I wanted to do. Since those days I have aspired to play football at the collegiate level. I know that a college education is important and that playing football while attaining my degree would open up a lot of doors and opportunities for me.
Since those days I have been working to improve my skills on the field. I am always working on strength and conditioning. Whether it be for football or baseball. I give 100%, 100% of the time. I am a leader on and off the field, for my teammates. I am very coachable and try to always be one of the hardest working players on and off the field.
I carry that hard work ethic and leadership into the classroom as well, as I maintain a high GPA. I try to be a team player while in the classroom and help my peers when needed.
I want to attend a college that will challenge me academically and a football program that will challenge me physically and mentally. I want to find the best fit for me, for the degree/career that I want to pursue, so I am open to all appropriate options. I want to be the first person in my family to attend college right after high school and be a good role model for my younger siblings and peers, as well as to make myself and parents proud.
