During my first two years of playing at Scott County Youth League, I was unsure what I was getting myself into. Luckily, I had a great coach to teach me all the basics about football. He taught me how to tackle, how to catch, and everything else I needed to know about the game. The last two years of my football career, I would say have been the most influential. Those two years, the team and I played very well, going undefeated in the seasonal games.
During this time, I even had a previous high-school quarterback mentor me. He really helped me learn how to throw better and all the minor details of being a quarterback. He really helped me become a better person on and off the field. Now I know when to stay in the pocket and when to move out, how to read a defense, and how to tell when I should throw the ball and run it. I feel like I'm growing to be a better all-around football player and man off the field thanks to my football career and mentors.
The throw data was captured by Wilson Sporting Goods. Metrics were collected through a variety of drills during the Wilson QBX camps where players threw footballs using Wilson X Connected QB tracking technology embedded in each ball.
