2014 HighlightsMy name is Logan Mann and I'm a 17 year old senior at Anderson County High School in Lawrenceburg, Ky, where I'm a student-athlete. At my high school we are taught that we have to be successful students first, because without success in the classroom there will be no opportunity on the football field. I want to play football in college as a long snapper. I love the game of football. It is the greatest TEAM sport, bar none. Everything that goes into building a football TEAM...the hard work, the discipline, the dedication, the intensity, the commitment, the determination...all of this and so much more that goes into a football TEAM is what drives me to work to be the best part of the TEAM I can be. I've played football every season since I began playing in 3rd grade. I've always been an offensive lineman and now I specialize as a long snapper. During the 2014 season I took over as our varsity long snapper beginning with our 4th game and I snapped every punt, PAT and FG attempt the rest of the season, through our last game in the regional championship. During the entire season I made no bad snaps and we had no blocked punts. If I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to play football in college I will work as hard as I possibly can to make my TEAM the best it can be. I will also uphold myself to the highest level of character because that is what truly defines a person. Also, a student-athlete represents his university and his TEAM and must always hold himself to a higher standard as an effective role model for others. Finally and most importantly, I will always work to be the finest student I can be. My ultimate goal is to graduate in my chosen program and to put my degree to work in the professional field.
