Billy Chatman '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Billy Chatman. I'm 6 ft' tall, 170 lbs . I play Wide Reciever on offense, and Safety on Defense. I'm a very hard worker.I practice the way I play on the field, i'm focused and giving one hundred and ten percent every down of the ball.If your looking for a good leader, someone who will keep the team in line when the coaches aren't around, you've found the right guy. I'm good with leadership, discipline with the coaches as well as self discipline. I'm a well behaved student in school I rarely have any problems in class. I ended my freshman year with a 3.0 grade point average but I struggled a little my sophmore year ended up with a 2.1 grade point average and finished strong with a 3.0 in junior and senior year. I have already graduated from high school but I am still looking to get recruited by any college or university. I attended the National Underclassmen Combine running a 4.98(40), a 4.83 shuttle, and benched 155 lbs fifteen times. I'm looking to improve those scores day by day. When it comes to choosing colleges, the region doesn't really matter to me. I will play any where weither it's the top Collegiate football program in the nation or if it's one of the smallest schools in D2 football, as long as I'm getting a good education,playing college football and I feel I can make it to the highest level of football from there that will be the school for me. It's my dream to play collegiate football and make it to the pros.If something was to go wrong and I couldn't persue my dream I have a back up plan of going to college for physical therapy.My athletic goals are to become a better player, and to sign a letter of intent to play collegiate football here in the near future. I eat, sleep, and breath football, it's in my DNA, it's just what I love to do.
