Lucas Decker '18 Recruiting Profile

Currently as a High School Sophomore my goal is to work hard and concentrate on academics to raise my GPA in hopes for acceptance to a great college.  Football has been a strong focus in my life since my 7th grade year.  Being part of the team not only helped me physically but helped me to build confidence in myself.  One of my coaches once told us to set priorities in life.  His recommendations were, put God and family first, academics, then football.  I know that following my beliefs and reaching for my goals is a sure way to succeed in anything I try.  If you work hard you can't go wrong.  I strive to give 110% on and off the field.  I hope to continue into college in the same way, work hard, play hard and strive to be the best.
