Hello,
My name is Joshua Walton. I attend Walton Verona High School of Kentucky (ranked #14 out of 239 in Ky for Education by CollegeSimply, ranked #22 out of 340 Best High School Sports). I absolutely love my school, the sport of football, competition, learning, and leading! I have played football since I was six years old and been an academic standout in High School (honor role since Freshman year). Because I love being on the field and have proven myself a strong and versatile competitor, I have played many positions in football including defensive end, wide receiver, running/full back, tight end, and kicker. I see this as a strength (versatility) as I attend a small school and take pride in making a difference when and where my team/coach need me! I give 110% of my effort to football on and off season as well as to being an academically achieving student. I see myself as a lifelong learner. My career goal is to become a Dermatologist. Lastly, I am very self-disciplined, understand what it means to sacrifice, and patriotic. Both my parents serve in the US Army. They have contributed to my learning, self-discipline and focus. I look forward to being an outstanding collegiate football player, person, and student. I look forward to my final high school season, being a leader as a senior, and the prospect of our team winning another district championship for our school, fans and teammates.
