Daniel Hollander Jr. '15 Recruiting Profile

I have started as WR/TE end since my freshman year.  I was the long snapper my junior year.  I finished this year with 39 receptions, 550 yds and 6 TDs. I was most recently selected as 1st Team All District WR and named to the Academic All State Team. I played WR in the LA All Star East West game and had 5 receptions for 50 yds.  I was also selected to the 2014 All-Louisiana Team First Team Offense as a WR in Louisiana Football Magazine. My junior year stats were 50 receptions for 772 yds with 10 TDs.  As a junior I was selected as a WR to the 1st Team All District, Second Team All State in Class 2A (coach-selected) and named "Most Improved Offensive Player" by my coaches. I have started on the varsity basketball and track teams since my freshman year.  During my sophomore year I led the basketball team in blocks (3/game) and rebounds (10/game).  Junior year district track meet I placed 2nd in high jump, 2nd in 200 relay, 2nd in 400 relay, 3rd in triple jump and was chosen Field MVP.  I believe basketball and track have improved my football skills as a receiver and increased my athletic diversity. I have a strong faith life and participate in campus ministry. I take honors courses, am currently taking a Dual Enrollment English class, am in the National Honor Society and always strive for academic excellence.  I dream of going to college and playing college football. My main focus is finding my career but I will do all that I can to excel in my athletic career.
