Cael McDaniel '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Cael McDaniel. I started playing football in my 8th-grade year. I was the only 8th grader to letter in Varsity football in 2019 at my school.  I was recognized as an Academic Athlete as well. In my Freshman and Sophomore years, I started on the Defensive Line for Pope John Paul II. In May 2021 I won the USAA Powerlifting Championship for the 105 JV Equipped.

No matter what you are doing I believe that you should give it your all. For me this includes Football, Powerlifting, Academics, giving back to the school, and the community. I believe in having a strong work ethic. I want to be the best I can at everything I do. I want to help others and give back to the community when I can. This helps me stay grounded in my faith while continuing to develop my character. 

Since playing high school football I have learned the value of supporting your fellow players and Coaches. I have learned what commitment and sacrifice are. I have learned from our Coaches as well as the other players how to be a leader both on and off the field. 

I look forward to growing in the coming years, learning and perfecting my skills as a football player and as a person. I fully believe when I graduate in 2024 I will have the academics, talent, and skills needed to succeed at the college level of football. I know I will be a valuable asset to any college football team that will want me to join their team.
