Dallas McAlister '19 Recruiting Profile

    I come from a football family, It's In my blood my father and grandfather played. It's a family tradition to watch and play football In my house. From the first time I stepped on the field, I knew this was my passion. I enjoy supporting my teammates, competing, bettering myself, and being part of a team. I played competitively since I was 10 and continue to prepare myself mentally and physically to play at the College and pro level. I truly feel I have the skills and abilities to make an impact of and off the field, from being a mentor to my teammates to doing volunteer work in my community. I take pride knowing I can make a difference.

    I love to compete from playing soccer, in track and field, participating in karate tournaments and meeting the challenges from my coaches. Another strength Is my versatility, I have played wide out, tight end, fullback, linebacker and defensive end. The coaches asked me to play DE during the 17-18 because of the lack of depth at the position, I responded with over 50 tackles, 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 2 pass deflections and fumble recovery for a touchdown to help seal a win for my team. But, I'm more proud that that In my junior year, I continued to display my leadership skills and be a good example to my teammates on how to practice and behave on and off the field.

    What I bring to the table, I'm a good locker room guy, I'm a coachable player, a hard worker, and someone who wants to give back to my community. What I'm looking for is an amazing place to continue to develop myself on and off the field, a program building a solid tradition, and a fair opportunity to earn playing time on the field.
