Blake Lopez '19 Recruiting Profile

  I would like to graduate college with a degree in either engineering or marine biology. Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to play football. Being slightly undersized, I've always had to work harder than everybody else. Even with the size disadvantages I had, I still had the heart to start at nose guard for my recreation team. I was only 4'6 and 60 pounds at the time. I still led the team in tackles. In the years that I have played with Houma Jr. High, I have never failed to show up at a practice. No matter whether I was sick or hurt, I was still dressed out ready to go. I make sure to push everybody on my team to work their hardest. Also, I have a very good football IQ. But, my best quality is my hustle. All my coaches have always pointed out how much I hustle regardless of which sport I'm playing. a play isn't over until the whistle blows.
