Shen Joseph '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shen ( Pronounced Shane) Joseph Jr. I am a student athlete at St. James High School In St. James, Louisiana. I am a class of 2020 and a Junior as I am typing this statement. I play wide receiver for Varsity. I am a hard worker on and off the field I do not slack off or clown around with my friends at practice. I do what is expected of me and I excel at doing it. My maxes for weightlifting is Power Clean (225), Bench (210), Squat (365), and Deadlift (465) I weigh 160 currently and 5'10, my 40 time is A 4.4. as a football player on my team, I am expected to work hard everyday and do whats right when the coaches tell me or when the coaches don't say nothing. If you ever watch me practice or play , I do not take plays off what so ever, I have a big chip on my shoulder for football.  I ask questions when I need to or when i'm having trouble with a certain thing to get better. my pros are that I have a great amount of speed to get off the line faster, I can catch any ball in traffic or wide open, my footwork is fast and I can get away from defenders very well. My cons are that if I don't use my hands when I need them or when I suppose to I tend to get beat off blocks and route running. Also when I am not concentrating on the ball to catch it I will not catch it. In School I am a AB student with a 3.5 GPA. In class I do all my work and pass tests. I want to graduate from High School and go on to college to play football and to study in engineering. My family is more important than anything, and thats why I play football so that in the future there would not be any more problems.
