I spent the last year and a half working hard to beat out an upperclassman that no one, including my coaches, thought I could beat.  By week four, I was named the starter and he transferred schools.  I know about adversity, perseverance, and the importance of hard work and I believe my journey has made me more prepared for football at the next level.
