I started playing football around the sixth grade. When I started, I never thought that I would make it this far. As the years progressed, I started to learn that football wasn't just about going out on a Saturday and playing a game. I learned that a person had to work for what they wanted, and I wanted to play football. During my freshman year of highschool, I broke my right hand which put me out for the rest of that season. That taught me that, no matter what, you have to keep pushing. Fast forward to the last game of my junior year. It was the middle of the third quarter and I received a blow to the shoulder, causing it to separate. Having no other back-ups for my position, I had to finish the game. These injuries taught me to never give up. I would like to go to a school that shows the same mentality as myself, because my grades reflect my performance on the field.
