Jayson Houck '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jayson Houck and I am a rising senior at Middletown High School, in Maryland.  I've played football since age 4  and have been passionate  about the sport ever since.   I bring dedication along with a thirst for competition, to this great game.   As a sophomore, I started on varsity as a wide receiver,  punt return, kick return,  and holder, while also playing safety.   As a junior, I returned to my same starting positions, earning "captain" after the 2nd game of the season.    Some characteristics that best describe me are "hard worker", "motivated", "humble", and "team player".   My coaches have shared with me that they believe I am a "coachable player",  "a leader", and an "instinctive player with natural talent".    You will find that I am disciplined to balance my sports and academics (and have also played lacrosse and basketball).   Training time is fit into my everyday schedule.   My focus is to be my best for my team, my school, my family, and myself.
