I aspire to be the best me I can be. I recognize every day as a gift and work hard in the present to be better in the future. I am a student athlete with aspirations to play football at the college level. What makes me a good candidate for your college team is that I am coachable, confident, hard working, and determined to do my best to contribute to my team’s overall success. I am a team player and a leader both on and off the field. I take my school work seriously and maintain a 3.3 GPA. I also take the initiative to encourage my teammates and push them to always want to be better. I give respect and require it in return. I plan to bring that same energy to my college team. What makes me different is that I am resilient and always looking for opportunities to excel and sharpen my skills as a Cornerback, a student and a leader. I know that there is no “I” in team and success is not achieved until “we” reach it together. I wear the number eight, this year. My teammates believe in my leadership and our bond so much that they say, “In eight we trust.” Through my faith, family support, coaches and teammates I will continue to learn, grow, develop and stay hungry, so I can the best I can be. I am Markus Travis, a student athlete, team player, go getter, and a leader.
