Makay Redd '13 Recruiting Profile

Last 2011 season was a first year place-kicker recruited off soccer team with Monte Vista High School in Danville, CA.  Led EBAL (East Bay Athletic League -Div 1) in PAT % (98%) - missed only first PAT ever. Converted 45 yard field goal for longest in league.  Delivered game winning field goal with 9 seconds left on clock during cross town rivalry game before crowd of 10,000+ fans.  Average 62.3 yards per non-squib kick-off.  Known for leg strength, snap and rapid ball rise.  Significant experience in handling game pressure not only as a placekicker but also as a baseball pitcher and soccer goalie for both high school varsity and nationally ranked competitive club teams.

Attending Cushing Academy in Asburnham, MA for a post-graduate (PG) year where I will be the placekicker/punter for the Varsity football team for the 2012 season. As of Fall Mid-Term, I have a 3.6 GPA at Cushing. Looking for an opportunity to continue kicking at the next level combined with a strong academic environment.  Will definitely consider preferred walk-on options.
