Samuel Hazzard '21 Recruiting Profile

            Let me first thank you for your time and interest in me for your school and athletic program.

            About me and my family, my name is Samuel Hazzard, born November 2, 2001 and am 15 years old. I am 6’3’ and weigh 250lbs. I have been working with strength and conditioning coaches for the past 4 years. 1 rep max bench is 240lbs; 185lbs 10 times in one minute.  My 40yard dash is 5.1 seconds. I live with my mom, dad and our dog Charlie.

 I am a sophomore at Dartmouth High School in Dartmouth Ma. I take mostly honors classes and carry a 3.5 GPA. I take my competitive spirit from the field and apply it to my grades.

            I know you read many letters from many students, so what makes me different? It’s my drive and the ability to stick to it, my being focused and results oriented while keeping cool when everything goes wrong. Those things come from my leading by example and confidence that hard work and sacrifice in preparations will pay off in achievement.

            My goals are to find a school that is a strong fit for me academically and with a football program that will bring out the very best in me. Being the very best in me is what my teammates deserve; It’s the expectation of my future coach.

 I look forward to talking with you and meeting you. Until that time, I will be working hard, taking care of my responsibilities and taking an extra 15 minutes and throwing the ball for Charlie.
