Carter Rae '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach,
I'm Carter Rae. I’m currently in my Junior year at Norwell High School, in Norwell,  Massachusetts. I’ve been playing football here in Norwell since second grade, on both the OL and DL. I’ve been a Varsity Starter on both sides of the ball since Sophomore year.
The most important lesson that football has taught me through the years is perseverance. Through youth football, our team made the Super Bowl at all three levels, but it wasn’t until our final attempt in grade 8 that we won that final game to become Champs. We never stopped pushing to be the best. That same year our hard work really paid off as I, along with 4 of my teammates were named to the OCYFL ( Old Colony Youth Football League) All-Star Team. I strive to use the perseverance that football has taught me in all aspects of my life, from studying and academics in AP and honors classes, to working hard and persevering in everything I do. My coaches would say that I am a leader both on and off the field. I was recently selected to be a Captain for our upcoming 2023/2024 Football Season. I’m coachable, respectful and am looking forward to becoming part of, and contributing to a successful football program at an academically and athletically competitive University.
