Hello Coaches.
My name is Andrew Guerra and I am a Senior at Lincoln Sudbury High School in Sudbury Massachusetts. I have a great love of football and sports in general, with an important goal of playing football at the collegiate level in a competitive program that also works for my academic goals. I also compete at the Mass Div 1 Varsity level for basketball, which helps my speed, footwork and endurance, but Football is my love and my primary focus. I am in a strong weight and strength program focusing on increasing size and strength for the upcoming season where I expect to be a two way starter at both Offensive Left Tackle and Defensive End and currently weigh in at 270 Lbs and stand 6'5".
Coaches I have met and Professional mentors through FBU have told me my frame is built to add size significantly without much loss of speed, if I decide Offensive Tackle is my best position. I also expect to be a force on the defensive side of the ball this year at Defensive End and I am focusing on skills at that position equally as much as the Offensive Tackle position. I would look to play any position that gets me on the field.
I am a strong student and my grades and work ethic give me confidence I can handle a very competitive academic program. I am considered a leader among my peers and my role in LS's Peer Mediation program as one of only a few Peer Mediators reflects my values
I will actively update game video every week in the fall so you can assess my abilities.
Ultimately I am looking for a program that fits my academic and athletic goals, at a school that I love, and gives me a great college experience. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Thank you.
Andrew Guerra
