Milo Simpson '24 Recruiting Profile

Milo Simpson was born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI. He is a Class of 2024 player and has been playing tackle football since he was 8 years old. Milo is in his senior year of high school and his third year as a starting varsity offensive lineman and long-snapper. Milo primarily served as the team's center and captain for the past two years but his passion and desire to play at the next level has also focused on long-snapping. He is a smart and very coachable kid who prides himself on being a leader on the team and a mentor to younger players. He was voted All Conf First Team OT this year. As a snapper, his work with Kohl's continues to help him excel and he is proud of the results he has seen from his off-season work. He is currently ranked as 4-star LS with Kohl's Professional Camps. Milo is coachable, driven, and excited about the summer camp season and the possibilities of playing college ball.

Milo is academically a solid student though he struggled during his first year of high school through remote school and the pandemic. Since the return to in-person schooling Milo's grades have climbed to a sustained 3.8 or higher the past two years. Milo wants to study pre-med with his undergraduate studies and continue on to medical school to study orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. 

Outside of football, Milo has been employed for the past two years working as a waiter and barback for a local pub. He is a member of his school's Peer-to-Peer student-led mental health organization and is a peer mediator in Pioneer High School's peer conflict resolution program and he is enrolled in the Health Sciences program. After a two-year hiatus, he plans to return to playing lacrosse for his senior year and will also be on the track team again in 2024 as a thrower. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and is an avid gamer.
