I am a hardworking student athlete who has learned the value of work ethic. I’m willing to play any position that you throw at me. I have some JV experience at most positions. I am a team captain by coaches vote for my up and coming season. I take this achievement as an honor that they have the faith in me to lead this team. I will always do my best to push my team to greatness not only on but off the field. I treat everyone with the utmost respect, if they are on my team, they are considered family to me. I’ve always felt that at my school the coaches try to keep a respectable name to our team. I want the same thing, so I started talking to underclassmen trying to motivate them to better themselves in whatever they do. I have taken interest in other sports as well including track and basketball. In about a month I went from throwing a discus 55 feet to throwing near 100 feet. I know 100 feet isn’t eye popping but I put in the work and became my team's number 4 thrower. I've been trying to get out running with the cross country kids as well. I am not a fan of running but I know it will better me on and off the field. I strive to become the best version of myself, so that's what I set my goal to do. I’m a huge advocate for the weight room. It's basically a home away from home for me. I want to be bigger, faster, and stronger, so I'm constantly trying to fix my form to be perfect. I have kinda morphed into being a coach in the weight room. Training kids on their form and helping them improve. It's that kind of stuff that makes me happy. I love seeing the improvement in young athletes. I will always pride myself on giving my best and I will always try to outwork the man in front of me.
