Benjamin Peterson '23 Recruiting Profile

I want to be an engineer when I get my degree. I want to play college football, or at the very least have the opportunity to play.  My number one collegiate goal is to go to a four-year university. Next is playing football. 

 I think I would be a good candidate because I'm a good leader who inspires others to do their very best. I am the motivator of the football team. I got into the role because I show so much emotions when going into the game. I always have words to say pregame to pump up my team. During the game, I'm always cheering for my teammates when they do well. When their not, I offer them encouragement to keep fighting.  Also, I have been told by my coaches that I am one of the few players they have coached that is so coachable, I'm always listening to what the coach is saying, and that I am such a good teammate. 

 I'm different then everyone else because I am not the most athletic, or the strongest lineman, but I am the best leader you will find. I want everyone around me to be successful, and I am willing to do whatever it takes for that to happen. I want to be the best teammate and most coachable ahead of playing because this is a team sport. If I don't succeed, then at least I have the satisfaction that my teammate did.
