Parker Durkin '23 Recruiting Profile

Prospective Coaches, thank you for taking this time to read my personal statement.

My name is Parker Durkin, I am a 6'2", 180lb Wide Receiver from the state of Minnesota.  I will be graduating in 2023 from Edina High School where I hold a 3.2 grade point average while also volunteering in the community and working with youth groups. 

My objective is to play college football at the highest competitive level that I can. My goal is to attend a college that will not only challenge me athletically but intellectually as well as I continue to learn and develop. I believe in myself, and I have the dedication, pride, and personal character to be part of a winning team.

My athletic accomplishments my junior year include ranking 5^th in the state of Minnesota for receptions in the regular season.  Being chosen 6A All District 1st team in the Metro Gold Division. I was honored to be chosen Offensive MVP for the Edina Varsity Football team.  In addition, I was honored to be named team Captain for my Senior year by my peers.   In the off season I am a starting WR for the Potenza Sports 7v7 National Club Team.  I also work with Potenza on strength, condition and position skills to continuously develop and improve in my position as well as my work ethic and drive for success.  I have become a leader on both teams, being a leader both on and off the field.  I am a positive influence on the sidelines as well as in the huddle, building relationships and experience that will last a lifetime.
