Chase Lorenson '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chase Lorenson and I am a freshman in high school. I am someone who will work hard and do what I am told. I am very coachable and love the game of football with a passion. I study a lot about route running and will work and work to be the best route runner possible. I think coaches should look at me because I have an impressive amount of speed, strength, and a good vertical along with a great work ethic and great athleticism for a freshman my age. With that being said my vertical, strength and speed make me a great wide receiver target. I blow by defenders on the deep routes and am open to make those catches. I am able to go up and get the jump balls thrown to me and come down with them. I can also run screen plays because I am explosive after the catch and lots of people won't be able to catch me in the open field because of my speed and agility. If I do meet defenders I will run over them and use my strength. I am going to work at getting more stronger, faster, and explosive. Within the next few years I'll only get better and better and the work that I am and will be putting in will make me a standout athlete. My goal is to make it D1 and be the best player out there at the D1 level. My grades are very good and I am sitting around a 3.75/4.0 GPA currently. I just finished my freshman season and throughout the season I started on my varsity team. I led my team in receiving touchdowns as a freshman. I am ready to have a breakout season next year and after that the sky is the limit. Hopefully coaches will get to see me play because my goal is to make them rethink why they never chose me. I will do great things for schools and the coaches won't regret making me a part of their team. I am ready for the setbacks to come because I will overcome those and get better from them. I am always ready to work.
